The MassDEP Beyond the Bin Directory let’s you search items that don’t belong in your household recycling bin to find out where to recycle, reuse, or repurpose them in Massachusetts. The directory helps Massachusetts residents find recycling and reuse outlets for household items – including old electronics, plastic bags, furniture, and textiles – that cannot be recycled with household bottles, cans and paper. You can also use the Recycle Smart MA Recyclopedia to enter the name of the item to find out if you can recycle it or through in the trash.
